AMBULANCE MANAGER
Nawaloka Hospitals PLC is looking for an experienced and dynamic Ambulance Manager to lead and manage our ambulance operations with efficiency, safety, and compassion. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, coordinated, and high-quality pre-hospital care and transport services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. (Healthcare management qualification is an added advantage.)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in ambulance services, emergency medical services (EMS), or healthcare operations management.
- Strong understanding of pre-hospital care systems, protocols, and regulations.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety, and infection control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Full/Valid driving license. (Experience in fleet or logistics management is an added advantage.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and oversee all ambulance operations and resources.
- Ensure 24/7 availability of ambulances and timely response to calls.
- Coordinate with hospitals, emergency units, and external agencies for seamless service delivery.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate ambulance staff and drivers.
- Monitor compliance with clinical guidelines, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain ambulance fleet: maintenance, equipment, and inventory management.
- Analyze performance data and implement improvements in service delivery.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient utilization of resources.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and service documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
