TOUR CONSULTANT (NATURE ODYSSEY)
Walkers Tours is a premier Destination Management Company owned by Sri Lanka's largest conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC with five decades of experience in the FIT, GIT and MICE segments along with a large portfolio of Tour Operators spread globally.
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Tour Consultant to join Nature Odyssey, our specialized niche segment dedicated to adventure and wildlife travel. In this role, you will report directly to the Market Head and be based at our Corporate Office.
THE TOUR CONSULTANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Planning, handling and executing Inbound Travel Itineraries and possesses a sound product knowledge.
- Operating as the lead point of contact with Tour Operators and clients for all matters specific to tours
- Costings, handling invoices and ensuring debtors are cleared according to company standards
- Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborate with other colleagues to ensure growth attainment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position together with a Degree in Tourism, Marketing or Business Management
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and PR Skills
- A strong, personable presence with a deep enthusiasm for wildlife and the natural world
