General Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our team, someone who can bring subject expertise, innovative teaching methods, and genuine enthusiasm into the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing students for examinations while fostering critical thinking, analytical reasoning, practical skills, and a lifelong interest in Chemistry.

Qualifications & Criteria (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, with Chemistry as a major or specialized subject.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching A-Level Chemistry in an Edexcel or Cambridge curriculum environment.
  • Strong Chemistry knowledge and teaching skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for Upper School students in line with the school curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment.
  • Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and examinations.
  • Maintain a safe, well-organized, and stimulating learning environment, including the proper use of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular activities, subject committees, and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and the Head of Department to maintain high academic standards.

The appointment will be subject to satisfactory enhanced disclosure of the proper qualifications. Misrepresenting academic/professional qualifications will be deemed a gross violation.

All qualification certificates must be issued by a recognized university, verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in your home country, and attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar.
