CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER (CISO)
Arpico Insurance, a subsidiary of Richard Pieris & Company PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading diversified conglomerates, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Information Security Officer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and strengthening the Information Security Function by developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory and corporate requirement, managing information security risks and safeguarding the Company’s data, systems and digital infrastructure while supporting secure and sustainable business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the organization’s cybersecurity and information security strategy.
- Identify, assess and manage information security and cyber risks.
- Establish and maintain security policies, standards and controls.
- Monitor cyber threats, vulnerabilities and security incidents and lead incident response.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, regulatory and industry requirements.
- Oversee security audits, risk assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and training across the organization.
- Manage third-party security risks and cybersecurity vendors.
- Provide regular cybersecurity risk and performance reports to senior management.
- Provide periodic updates to specified Board Sub Committees.
- Lead and develop the information security team and continuously strengthen the organization’s security posture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT risk or a related senior role.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication and risk management skills.
