REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse with a valid registration from the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting (fresh graduates may also apply).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work with Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge / doctors.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety.
- Assist doctors during procedures and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Educate and support patients and their families on healthcare, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care.
