PHARMACIST
Join our team and play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and quality pharmaceutical care for our patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.
- Registration with the Sri Lanka Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
- 0-2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, drug interactions and pharmaceutical care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy management systems (an added advantage).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispense medications accurately and ensure proper labeling.
- Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and safety.
- Counsel patients on the correct use of medicines and potential side effects.
- Maintain proper stock control, inventory and cold chain management.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations and hospital policies.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
