Job Profile
- Handling conveyancing and notarial work, including carrying out title searches, drafting, executing and attesting of title deeds, condominium related documents such as sale and purchase agreements, deeds of assignment, addendums for completed and ongoing projects and addressing queries from stakeholders.
- Liaising with Mall Operations of JKP to attend to queries of a legal nature raised by mall tenants.
- Notarizing and attesting leases for shop spaces and other notarial documents.
- Liaising and working with the Head of JKP Legal, JKH Group Legal and the respective operations of JKP in work related to any inquiries, adjudications and litigation matters.
Personal Profile
- Being an Attorney at Law.
- Being a Notary Public with a license to practice in the Jurisdictional Zone of Colombo.
- A degree in Law or other professional qualification would be considered as an added advantage.
- Adequate knowledge and working experience in the above-mentioned areas and a minimum of Two (02) years experience, particularly in conveyancing and notarial work.
- Possessing the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and taking on challenges with a positive attitude.
