Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible AC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning systems. The technician will ensure that all AC systems are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair split, cassette, package, and other air-conditioning systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of AC units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak testing.
- Clean and service filters, coils, drain lines, and other AC components.
- Carry out compressor, fan motor, capacitor, thermostat, and control system checks and replacements.
- Read and understand basic AC installation drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure proper installation of copper piping, insulation, drainage, and electrical connections.
- Conduct testing and commissioning after installation or repair.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and company requirements.
- Prepare basic service reports and update supervisors on completed works and identified issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician.
- Good knowledge of AC installation, servicing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems related to air-conditioning.
- Ability to use standard AC tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at different project locations and follow site requirements.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification will be an advantage.
- Ability to communicate in English is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in resort, commercial, residential, or construction projects.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and new AC installations.
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems will be an added advantage.
