PIPEMAKERS, a Foreign Associate Company of Lanka Aluminium Industries Plc, is the only manufacturer of PVC & PE pipes in Papua New Guinea. The Company is well-established and has potential to expand its market presence throughout PNG.
The company is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and exceptionally capable techno-commercial professional to lead the next phase of growth of the business.
MANAGER – PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to significantly increase sales of PVC and PE pipes and fittings throughout Papua New Guinea.
- Plan and implement production capacity expansions and improvements.
- Lead, motivate and develop employees to achieve high levels of productivity and performance.
- Identify, mentor and groom colleagues to support and drive business growth.
Requirements
- 5–8 years' relevant experience in the PVC/PE pipe, plastics, manufacturing or a closely related industry, preferably in a senior managerial capacity
- A techno-commercial professional with a strong understanding of both manufacturing operations and sales/business development.
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant professional qualifications in Engineering, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals and achieve challenging business objectives.
The position carries an attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
