Engineer-Facility Management (Location : Dankotuwa)
The Engineer - Facility Management will oversee daily building maintenance, ensuring the upkeep of the company’s infrastructure. This includes coordinating tasks like masonry, concrete work, carpentry, and waterproofing. The role reports to the Manager – Maintenance.
- Assist in planning and budgeting the annual maintenance strategy and capital improvement projects.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance requirements and potential risks.
- Implement energy‑efficient and sustainable building maintenance practices.
- Assist in selecting and evaluating materials, equipment, and service providers.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with agreed service standards.
Who We Want
- BSC, NDT, NDES, or HND in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance at a reputable organization.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, repair procedures, and safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with repair techniques, BOQ preparation, and CAD drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
