We are looking for a commercially driven and detail-oriented Buyer to manage the procurement of products and materials while ensuring the right quality, pricing, availability, and timely delivery.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and execute purchasing activities in line with business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, product availability, and customer preferences.
- Ensure timely availability of products and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Support product sourcing and assortment development for ODEL Delight & Blend house.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree/Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in buying/procurement, preferably in retail, FMCG, food, or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Good understanding of purchasing, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
