SUPERVISOR SECURITY AND SURVEILLANCE COLOMBO
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out security functions for the premises according to the given orders, instructions, and guidelines, ensuring the desired standards are met.
- Handle and maintain books, files, and registers used for day-to-day duties, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Scrutinise and supervise document procedures at security locations, maintaining them according to company standards (e.g., Gate Pass, Asset Transfer Note, Package Pass, Truck Pass, etc.).
- Monitor and record the movements of vehicles, personnel, and assets within the premises.
- Ensure that outsourced security guards perform their duties according to the provided instructions.
- Conduct inspections related to security functions on the premises and take corrective or preventive actions as needed.
- Ensure that security personnel (both internal and external) are well aware of the latest security procedures and the proper use of relevant equipment (e.g., fire systems, panic alarm systems, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years of experience in security, surveillance and safety operations, OR a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Tri-Forces (Non-Commissioned Officers) or the Police Department.
- Ability to work with MS Office packages, including email communication via Outlook.
- Verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala / English.
- Willingness to work on a roster shift basis (Day/Night).
