Pulsar Shipping Agencies (Private) Limited, the shipping and marine logistics arm of the David Pieris Group has been in operation since 1978. The Company offers complete operations and management services for shipping agency services and ship supply services for oil majors, offshore operators, ship managers, operators and owners around the world.
DRIVER MARINE OPERATIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide transport support for marine operations, including port visits, On Board Documentation work.
- Assist in crew, staff, and guest transfers, including airport pickups and drop-offs, ensuring punctuality at all times.
- Maintain accurate vehicle running sheets and repair record book.
- Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, and report any issues promptly to the HOD.
- Ensure company resources are used responsibly (fuel, vehicle usage, etc.).
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driving license (heavy/light depending on requirement)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (experience in shipping/logistics preferred)
- Good knowledge of Colombo and Outstation routes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Holidays, weekends and nights
- Strong responsibility, punctuality, and discipline
