What you need to do

  • Contribute to the development of innovative, functional, and customer-focused retail spaces that align with business and architectural objectives.
  • Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and design requirements.
  • Conduct design feasibility assessments and provide recommendations to the Property Team, ensuring proposed designs are viable and meet architectural and government requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation required for building plan approvals and Certificates of Compliance.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities, consultants, contractors, engineers, and internal project teams to facilitate approvals and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines, while resolving design-related issues as required.
  • Maintain accurate architectural records and documentation, approve materials and design details, and support the successful delivery of multiple projects within agreed timelines.

What you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized university; professional qualification or Chartered Architect status will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as an Architect in a reputed architectural firm, construction company, or similar environment.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in architectural design and modelling software, including AutoCAD/CAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, with strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
  • A goal-oriented, reliable, and collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes.
