Project Manager - COO Transformation Office

Location: HQ - Colombo, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate COO-led transformation projects across Global Operations, Stations, and Product teams
  • Translate strategic initiatives into structured and trackable project plans with clear ownership, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support project governance by tracking action items, decisions, and follow-ups from COO-led project meetings
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, plans, milestone trackers, and planning calendars across COO-led initiatives
  • Coordinate with project owners and stakeholders to gather status updates and ensure timelines remain current
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning meetings and maintain project calendars
  • Monitor project risks, delays, and dependencies, escalating issues where required
  • Maintain a central risk and issue log, tracking resolution status and follow-up actions
  • Work with stakeholders to validate reported progress and identify potential blockers at an early stage
  • Prepare dashboards and status reports to provide visibility on project progress across the network
  • Create and maintain a central project tracker covering project status, ownership, timelines, milestones, and key risks
  • Provide project coordination support across the COO Transformation Office and perform other duties assigned by the Global Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or internship exposure in project coordination, corporate planning, financial analysis, or a similar cross-functional role
  • Relevant professional certification in progress, such as PMP or an SCM/Logistics qualification, will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and research skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across teams and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with data visualization or dashboard tools will be an added advantage
  • Strong coordination, planning, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
