Workshop Manager - Anuradhapura
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Workshop Manager to lead our workshop operations in Anuradhapura.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop and ensure smooth workflow.
- Lead and manage workshop technicians and support staff.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to required quality and safety standards.
- Monitor workshop productivity, job progress, and turnaround time.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and workshop resources.
- Handle technical issues and ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and coordinate with the Service/Customer Relations team.
- Maintain proper workshop records, reports, and operational controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering / Automobile Technology / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience in automotive workshop operations.
- Experience in managing technicians and workshop teams.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and workshop management.
- Experience with automotive dealerships or multi-brand workshops will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to be based in Anuradhapura.
