Associate - Material Planning & Inventory
Join the Richard Pieris Group, a dynamic and diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, and be a part of our journey to success. We are looking for an Associate - Material Planning & Inventory to contribute to the growth of Maskeliya Tea Gardens Ceylon Limited, the tea marketing arm of the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate sales forecasts and plan material requirements to support production schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of raw and packing materials by raising approved purchase requisitions and following up on deliveries.
- Manage receipt, storage, issuance, and control of raw and packing material inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and support stock counts.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Customers, and Transport Providers to plan and execute timely order deliveries.
Qualifications & Skills
- Passed GCE Advanced Level preferably in the commerce stream.
- A part/full qualification in supply chain management would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in production planning/ supply chain would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and optimize production and distribution processes.
Job Location
- The position is based at our production & distribution centre in Maharagama.
- For ease of commute, preference will be given to candidates residing within a 25km radius of Maharagama.
