Lead Engineer - Enterprise and Fixed Data Core DevOps
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer - Enterprise & Fixed Data Core DevOps to drive the operations, automation, optimization, and evolution of our enterprise and fixed data core platforms. This role is ideal for an experienced network and systems professional passionate about DevOps, automation, network reliability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As part of the Core Network Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of core enterprise data services and platforms.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Lead and maintain enterprise and fixed data core platforms, ensuring high availability and service reliability.
- Manage broadband, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, authentication, SD-WAN, network security, LTE, 5G and FWA platforms.
- Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, proactive monitoring and performance optimization.
- Develop DevOps and automation solutions using Python, PHP, JavaScript, Bash or similar technologies.
- Support platform engineering, system integration, service delivery and device management.
- Lead platform upgrades, deployments, migrations and new technology implementations.
- Ensure platform security, resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Degree/B.Tech/NVQ/IVQ qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline, with relevant IESL/AMIE (SL) requirements where applicable.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in Telecommunications, Networking, Systems Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, IP Networking, DNS/DHCP/AAA, SD-WAN and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Python, APIs, monitoring platforms and system integration.
- Knowledge of incident management, performance optimization, capacity management and database administration.
- Understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity and cybersecurity practices.
