Job Title: SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR – VIDEO EDITOR (Freelance)
Location: Remote / Work from Home / Part Time
The Opportunity
We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Content Creator with strong video editing abilities to join our team on a freelance basis. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and digital content creation, we would love to hear from you. This is a part-time freelance opportunity, with an expected monthly content output based on market requirements. In addition to content creation, the freelancer may also be required to develop marketing materials and other creative assets in line with the company’s business and marketing needs. Work from home with flexible time.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit photos and video footage taken from construction sites and design activities into polished, professional content.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s branding, tone, and visual identity.
- Work independently to deliver one high-quality pieces of content per week.
- Add subtitles, graphics, transitions, music, and other effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
- Stay updated on social media trends, especially in video formats and creative techniques.
- Identify trending topics in engineering, construction, or architecture for timely and relevant content creation.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in creating and editing social media content using appropriate content creation and editing software.
- Strong skills in creating motion graphics, reels, and short-form video content.
- Ability to work with raw footage (photos and videos) and transform it into compelling narratives.
- Develop engaging short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Basic knowledge or interest in construction, architecture, or design sectors is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of Tamil and Sinhala is an added advantage.
