ASSISTANT IT MANAGER – CAPITAL MARKETS / STOCKBROKING

Richard Pieris Securities (Pvt) Ltd, a member of the Richard Pieris (Arpico) Group, is looking a dynamic and results oriented IT professional to join our team as Assistant IT Manager - Capital Markets / Stockbroking.
Key Responsibilities
- Trading Systems Operations: Oversee Order Management Systems (OMS), Back Office applications, Internet Trading portals, and market-data feeds.
- Infrastructure & Cybersecurity: Maintain Windows/Linux servers, M365, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and EDR solutions in compliance with CSE information security policies.
- BCP & Disaster Recovery: Execute backup procedures, manage DR site readiness, and participate in annual CSE/SEC BCP and DR testing.
- Compliance & Audits: Maintain strict change-management logs, user-access controls, and documentation required for internal/external audits.
- User Support & Vendors: Deliver L2 technical support during trading hours and coordinate SLAs with software, telecom, and hardware providers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- 3–5 years of IT experience (financial services or stockbroking background highly preferred).
- Windows/Linux Server, Active Directory, M365, Cisco/Networking, Firewalls, Virtualization, Database Basics.
- Familiarity with CSE/CDS environments, OMS tools, and capital market compliance frameworks.
- High resilience during live market hours, attention to audit integrity, and strong vendor coordination capabilities.
The Assistant IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the high availability, security and continuity of the firm’s core trading systems, network infrastructure and business applications. This role acts as a technical bridge between internal business functions and key industry bodies — including the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Central Depository Systems (CDS) — to guarantee operational uptime and strict regulatory compliance.
