PROCESS SUPERINTENDENT- RAW MILL, KILN & COAL MILL
Scope of the Role
Maximize raw meal, clinker, and fine coal powder production by efficiently operating the raw mills, kilns, and coal mill within operational limits, ensuring optimum specific power and heat consumption. Manage & lead the third party & own staff during the refractory lining period in order to complete all shutdown activities within planned days.
Responsibilities
- Raw mill, kiln & coal mill operation - Focus on the raw materials at the raw grinding stage to get the relevant quality material for better burning process.
- Reduce heat & power consumption - Optimize all machine parameters to get the minimum power consumption.
- Maximum plant availability (minimize operational break downs) - Identify all deviations of pressure, temperature profile to control all systems (Raw mill, kiln & coal mill) to minimize stoppages.
- Refractory installation - All contractor's employees utilization and direct activities to complete on target time period.
- Promote and contribute to OH&S targets - Continue safety awareness for all team members and maintain the good housekeeping and proper environment by guiding the third party employees and direct subordinates.
- Information reporting
Requirements
- National Diploma in Technology (NDT) in Chemical/ Mechanical /Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 01 year industrial experience in a similar field or Chemical / Process/ Mechanical / Electrical Engineering field.
- Cement Manufacturing, refractory knowledge, business management skills, good-problem solving skills and process techniques.
- Computer literacy and ERP system knowledge with strong people management, decision making and communication skills.
