IT & NETWORK TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a skilled and reliable IT & Network Technician to maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and networks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related problems promptly.
- Set up new employee computers, email accounts, software, and network access.
- Maintain IT equipment and keep accurate records of company assets.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
- Assist with network configuration, cabling, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers when required.
- Ensure antivirus, firewall, and other basic security measures are maintained.
- Maintain proper documentation of IT systems, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support IT-related installations, upgrades, and projects.
- Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field; or
- Minimum NVQ Level 4/5 in IT, Networking, or a related field.
- Previous experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and software.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to respond to urgent technical issues when required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 06 months to 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, networking, or a similar role.
