Job Title
Manager / Deputy Manager – Purchasing
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5–6 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, including experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in managing CAPEX project procurement activities.
Job Role
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
- Ensure the timely availability of materials and services for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier negotiations, and delivery management.
- Build strong supplier relationships and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes and timely vendor payments.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, rejected materials, and cost recovery.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, SOPs, ISO standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Drive cost optimization, supplier performance, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, prepare management reports, and lead the procurement team to achieve operational excellence.
