HEAD OF RETAIL
Ray Pharmaceuticals is a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor based in Lautoka, Fiji, specialising in pharmaceutical, consumer, and personal care products. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Head of Retail to lead retail operations, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of pharmaceuticals retail outlets.
- Develop and implement retail strategies to achieve sales and business targets.
- Monitor branch sales, profitability, customer service and operational performance.
- Lead, motivate and develop retail teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceuticals, health, safety and company requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, stock movement, expiry dates and inventory control.
- Work closely with Pharmacy, Warehouse Procurement, Finance and HR teams.
- Analyse sales and operational reports and identify areas for improvement.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy retail management or a similar senior management role.
- Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical retail operations and inventory management.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong understanding of sales, customer service and retail performance.
- Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple retail outlets and teams.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail/business management systems.
