OFFICER
FINANCE & ACCOUNTING
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank, customer, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Review and monitor capital expenditure proposals and approved projects, ensuring compliance with the Company's capital expenditure approval process and proper capitalization of assets.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in reconciliations and maintaining accounting schedules.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
