About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager / Estimator to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales and workshop production overseeing the manufacturing of custom signage, calculating material costs, and managing daily workshop workflows to ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Selection & Cost Estimation: Review client project requirements, select appropriate substrates (acrylics, aluminum composite panels, vinyl, LED modules), and prepare accurate material and production cost estimates.
- Production Management: Oversee workshop operations, coordinate daily fabrication tasks, and ensure signs, channel letters, and retail displays are built to specification and on schedule.
- Quality Control: Implement strict quality checks across all stages of fabrication and finishing before items leave the workshop or go out for site installation.
- Team Coordination: Manage and mentor technicians, sign makers, and assembly staff to maximize efficiency and minimize material waste.
- Inventory & Supplier Management: Monitor raw material stocks, coordinate with local and international suppliers, and maintain equipment maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Production Manager, Estimator, Must be Senior Sign Maker within the signage, advertising production, or large-format printing industry.
- Deep technical knowledge of signage materials (acrylic, ACM, neon, LED drivers, vinyl types) and manufacturing techniques (CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, acrylic bending).
- Strong capability in reading architectural and shop drawings.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
