EXECUTIVE - LOGISTIC
Elephant House is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy in the finished goods movement from Production and the proper handling of crates returned from distributors. This includes maintaining an accurate record of crates and ensuring accountability for stock losses.
In addition, the position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient loading and dispatch of orders to customers, enabling smooth and timely deliveries, while minimizing losses and errors.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Coordinate the receiving of finished goods (FG) from Production, proper cold room storage, and timely dispatch to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain crate management (receiving, issuing, storage) and reconcile with distributors to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, investigate stock discrepancies, and minimize stock variances.
- Ensure accurate picking, checking, and error-free loading of distribution orders while minimizing customer complaints.
- Monitor throughput and loading efficiency, and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the logistics process.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, minimize costs and waste, and enhance productivity.
Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.
