Business Analyst cum Software Quality Assurance Engineer
We are a prominent Label & Packaging company located in the Homagama region.-Industry: Manufacturing /Label and Packaging

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Prepare BRD, SRS, functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinate with business users and developers to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, report, and track software defects until resolution.
- Validate application workflows, business logic, and database accuracy.
- Maintain system documentation, testing reports, and user manuals.
- Support software implementation, user training, and continuous system improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and business process analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL, API testing (Postman), and manual testing.
- Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or similar project management tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with business users and software developers.
Added Advantages
- Experience with ERP, manufacturing, inventory, or production management systems.
- Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- ISTQB or Business Analysis certifications.
