In line with our rapid expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven individual to fill the following position immediately.
Positions Available: AGRICULTURE FIELD OFFICER
location: Dambulla Factory
Maliban Dairy & Agri Products (Pvt) Ltd, operating under the Yahaposha production plant in Dambulla, is seeking suitable male candidates to join its team as Field Officers – Agriculture to support and manage agricultural field operations.
The ideal candidates should have practical knowledge of farming, good communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with farmers and other relevant stakeholders to achieve cultivation and production targets.
Interested candidates who meet the required qualifications and are willing to work in assigned agricultural areas are encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and organize cultivation programs to achieve production targets in coordination with farmers in the assigned areas.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with farmers and farmer agents to achieve cultivation and production targets.
- Closely monitor field operations in the assigned areas to ensure crop quality and output meet company specifications.
- Ensure the timely delivery of agricultural inputs to the correct recipients to facilitate smooth cultivation activities.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge to farmers and relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of cultivation and purchasing programs.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to take prompt action when necessary to protect crops from pest attacks and diseases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of one year of experience in the agricultural field, along with G.C.E. Advanced Level qualifications; or a minimum of three years of experience in the agricultural field, with Agriculture studied as a subject at G.C.E. Ordinary Level.
- A certificate course or diploma in Plantation Management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical knowledge of farming practices and agricultural field operations.
- Age between 24 and 35 years.
- Willingness to work in the Galenbindunuwewa, Mahaweli-H, and Monaragala areas as required, depending on crop seasons and operational needs.
