JOB OPPORTUNITY
RESORT ACCOUNTANT (Based at Santani Wellness Kandy)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Head and supervise the Resort Finance Team, ensuring smooth and effective day-to-day finance operations.
- Monitor resort revenue, costs, cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure effective controls over revenue, purchasing, inventory, cash, credit, and payments.
- Ensure timely month-end closing and submission of financial reports.
- Provide financial insights and support to the Resort Management Team for effective decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or
- Part qualification in CA / CMA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in resort or hotel finance and accounting, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel/resort accounting, financial controls, budgeting, costing, and management reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/hotel management systems will be an advantage.
