Join our team of experienced and qualified professionals
RESIDENT ENGINEER
- A Chartered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in highways and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in contract administration.
- Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER
- A Chartered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in highway construction or supervision and a minimum of 3 years in contract administration.
- Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
- BSc Civil Engineering / BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with a procurement/contract qualification and 15 years’ experience in procurement, claims, variations, extensions of time, contractual correspondence and dispute avoidance/resolution for road or infrastructure contracts.
- Postgraduate qualifications are an added advantage.
HIGHWAY DESIGN ENGINEER
- A Chartered Civil Engineer with a postgraduate qualification and 12 years’ experience in highways, including 8 years in road design.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
- A Chartered Civil Engineer with a postgraduate qualification in Structural Design.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience, including 8 years in design of bridges, drainage and other road structures.
PLANNING ENGINEER
- BSc Eng. or equivalent; 8 years’ experience, including 4 years as Planning Engineer for highway and structure construction.
- Knowledge and experience in Primavera P6 Planning Software is required.
- A postgraduate qualification in project management or similar capacity is an added advantage.
MATERIAL ENGINEER
- BSc in Civil Engineering; 12 years’ experience, including 8 years as Material Engineer in quality control of materials for highways and highway structures.
SITE ENGINEER
- BSc in Civil Engineering, with 8 years’ experience, including 4 years in construction of highways and structures.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent; 8 years’ experience, including 6 years in measurement, tendering, variations and price escalation for road works contracts.
SURVEYOR
- BSc (Survey) or an Institute of Surveying and Mapping (Diyatalawa)-approved surveyor; minimum 3 years’ experience in QA/QC work.
ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- BSc Quantity Surveying or NVQ Level 7 (TVEC-recognised), with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in measurement of works and price preparation for road works contracts.
TECHNICAL OFFICER
- Certificate of proficiency (NVQ Level 5 or above, TVEC-accepted) in a relevant field; minimum 5 years’ experience in similar work.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
- Certificate of proficiency (NVQ Level 5 or above, TVEC accepted) in a relevant field; minimum 3 years’ experience in QA/QC work.
SENIOR DRAUGHTSMAN
- NVQ Level 5 (TVEC-accepted) relevant to the technical field; and at least 8 years’ experience in the required area of specialization.
MATERIAL TECHNICIAN
- Certificate of proficiency (NVQ Level 5 or above, TVEC-accepted) in a relevant field; experience in material testing and quality control.
