Nurse–Maternity Ward (Midwifery)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team in the following position:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pregnant women during labour, delivery, and the postnatal period.
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and labour progress.
- Assist doctors during deliveries and manage emergencies according to established protocols.
- Provide postnatal care and support newborn care.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and maternal health.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid registration with PHSRC or SLMC, as applicable.
- Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Minimum of 03 years of nursing training or work experience.
- Experience in a labor room or maternity ward will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns.
