JUNIOR ENGINEER (Ampara / Mihinthale)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily construction activities
- Monitor site progress in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material estimates, and progress reports
- Review engineering drawings and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve technical issues
- Monitor material usage, workmanship, and construction quality
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and quality requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other relevant departments
- Maintain daily site records and report progress to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa, University of Ruhuna, or University of Peradeniya
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in the engineering field
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Word
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, and project planning will be an added advantage
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with site personnel
- Willingness to work at project sites as required
