Lead - Media & Communication (Full-Time | Hybrid)

ESDF is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to join the Minority Professional Hub (MPH) and lead its Media & Communication portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAD

• Lead initiatives to strengthen visibility, public presence and communication.
• Develop & implement media, communication & social campaign strategies.
• Design professional visuals for research, advocacy, events & communication materials.
• Manage social media platforms & digital content.
• Create graphics, infographics, videos, reels & multimedia content.
• Produce documentaries, interviews & human interest stories.
• Translate research & policy findings into accessible public communication.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media, Development Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in media, communications, digital content, or social campaigns.
• Proven experience in communication & media strategy development and implementation.
• Strong skills in graphic design, social media, video production & multimedia.
• Excellent creativity, storytelling, writing & visual communication skills.
• CSO, NGO or Think Tank experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
• This position is open to Muslim applicants.
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English, and Tamil is mandatory, while Sinhala will be an added advantage.
