The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:

  • A Proven Track Record: Previous experience as a Marine Guide, Naturalist, Wildlife Guide, Eco-tourism Guide, or in a similar role within hospitality, tourism, wildlife, conservation, or marine sectors will be an advantage. Candidates with a strong passion for nature and guest engagement are encouraged to apply.
  • Land & Marine Knowledge: Good knowledge of local flora, fauna, terrestrial and marine wildlife, coastal ecosystems, and environmental conservation. The ability to conduct both land-based and marine activities and provide engaging interpretation of the natural environment is essential.
  • Culture & Heritage: Knowledge and appreciation of local culture, traditions, history and heritage, with the ability to incorporate these into meaningful guest experiences.
  • Guest Safety & Responsibility: Strong commitment to guest safety and responsible interaction with wildlife and the environment. Must be able to swim. First Aid, CPR, Lifesaving, Nature Guiding, Marine Guiding, or similar certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Communication and Team Work: Confident and engaging communicator with the ability to conduct both marine and land-based excursions, as well as a range of other guest activities. A dependable team player who collaborates effectively across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Professional Qualifications: Qualifications in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Zoology, Ecology, Wildlife Management, Tourism, or related fields will be an advantage.
