EXECUTIVE ELECTRICAL
Lankem Minerals Ltd is hiring an experienced electrical maintenance executive for its manufacturing plant in Oyamaduwa, Anuradhapura. The role heads the electrical maintenance team and works with production to keep the plant running safely and reliably. The main focus is preventing breakdowns, fixing faults and improving equipment performance.
What you will lead:
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime and support production targets.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in plant electrical installations, control systems, and automation equipment.
- Lead, coach, and develop the electrical maintenance team, ensuring safe and effective working practices.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and repairs with production and other departments to maintain operational continuity and product quality.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, investigate recurring failures, and recommend practical improvements to plant reliability and energy efficiency.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
What you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised university, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least three years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or processing plant.
- Sound practical knowledge of electrical installations, industrial automation, fault diagnosis, and maintenance planning.
- Strong team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to plant maintenance.
- Must currently reside near Oyamaduwa or be willing to relocate to Oyamaduwa or a nearby area.
