Uga Ulalagala – Anuradhapura is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie (Cold Kitchen) to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about culinary excellence and committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and professionalism. The ideal candidate should possess a willingness to learn and contribute effectively to a dynamic kitchen environment.
By delivering excellence in cold kitchen operations, as a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the preparation and presentation of high quality cold dishes, maintain the highest food safety standards, and contribute to a kitchen culture focused on precision, consistency, and craftsmanship. We are looking for a passionate culinary professional who understands that behind every exceptional dining experience lies carefully prepared ingredients, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:
- A Proven Track Record: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, preferably with cold kitchen experience in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Culinary Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in cold kitchen preparation, including salads, dressings, sandwiches, cold cuts, appetizers, and other cold food specialties, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Strong knowledge of food safety, personal hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards. The candidate should ensure that all cold kitchen preparations are handled, stored, and presented in accordance with established hygiene and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Teamwork & Commitment: Demonstrates excellent teamwork and organizational skills, ensuring preparation tasks are completed efficiently while supporting the delivery of high culinary standards and the smooth functioning of the kitchen.
- Professional Qualification: A Diploma or Professional Qualification in Hotel Management or a related field.
