Center Manager – Anuradhapura Project
A reputed agriculture technology & R&D company
Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage the day-to-day operations of the project center, ensuring smooth execution of planned activities and achievement of project objectives.
- Coordinate project activities related to agriculture, technology implementation, field operations, demonstrations, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Supervise center staff and coordinate with technical, engineering, R&D, administration, and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, government institutions, community stakeholders, and other project partners.
- Monitor project progress, operational KPIs, resource utilization, budgets, and timelines, and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate training programs, field demonstrations, workshops, and awareness sessions conducted through the center.
- Manage center administration, facilities, documentation, inventory, procurement coordination, and operational requirements.
- Identify operational challenges and work with relevant teams to implement practical and timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Prepare periodic reports, activity updates, budgets, and project documentation for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Agriculture, Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, center/branch operations, agriculture-related operations, field management, or a similar role.
- Previous exposure to agriculture, agribusiness, rural development, technology projects, or community-based projects will be highly advantageous.
- Strong experience in team supervision, stakeholder coordination, administration, and operational management.
- Ability to coordinate with farmers, local authorities, service providers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good analytical, planning, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a good command of Sinhala and English.
- Candidates based in or willing to work in Anuradhapura will be preferred.
