Uga Ulagalla – Anuradhapura is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about culinary excellence and committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and professionalism. The ideal candidate should possess a positive attitude, eagerness to grow professionally, and the ability to contribute effectively to a dynamic kitchen environment.
By delivering excellence in kitchen operations, as a Chef de Partie, you will ensure the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards, and contribute to a kitchen culture focused on precision, consistency, creativity, and craftsmanship. We are looking for a passionate culinary professional who understands that attention to detail, innovation, and consistency are key ingredients in delivering exceptional hospitality.
The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For:
- A Proven Track Record: Minimum 02-03 years previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment, with strong expertise in preparing authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
- Culinary Expertise: Extensive knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation methods, recipes, and kitchen procedures, coupled with the ability to maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Quality & Consistency: Ability to maintain consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and overall food quality while following established recipes and standards.
- Teamwork & Operational Efficiency: A proactive and reliable team player who works effectively with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- Hygiene & Food Safety: Strong knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices, with a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Professional Qualifications: A Diploma or Professional Qualification in Hotel Management or a related field.
