We are an ISO 9001:2015 Certified, Energy and Environmental Services Company in Sri Lanka engaged in serving the business community in the industrial sector on providing practical solutions in Management and Technology of Energy Generation & Conservation.
In order to strengthen the professionally qualified engineering team of the company, we are now looking for two Mechanical Engineering Interns.
Intern -Mechanical Engineering (Primary Location: Alawwa)
Job Role
- To coordinate the Operation, Service and Maintenance of Biomass Boilers at a Client’s premises
- To liaise with the client and suppliers of various material and services for boiler operation on behalf of the company
- To coordinate the periodical services / maintenance of boilers according to checklists / schedules agreed with the client to ensure operation is done with minimum disruption to client
- To periodically assess spares, consumables and other supplies requirements and liaise with Procurement Department to obtain same on timely manner
- To support the Assistant Project Engineer to optimise the use of biomass fuel, labour and other supplies to improve efficiency of the operation
- To assist statutory inspection personnel in their inspection work as and when required
- To communicate and report on issues that arise on real time basis and coordinate rectification process
- To handle all documentation
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or NDT (Mechanical) or NDES (Mechanical) or Equivalent Qualifications from a reputed University/Institute.
- Experience in boiler operation / service will be an added advantage
- Conversant with material specifications and spare parts required for boilers
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours, even during week-ends, night shifts and holidays at site/s
- Preference will be given to candidates in and around Alawwa.
- Possession of a Boiler Operator license would be advantageous but not a necessity.
