Project Engineer - MEP (Location : Dankotuwa)
Are you an experienced Engineering Project Consultant with a passion for delivering innovative solutions? Join us on a fixed-term contract and play a key role in delivering impactful engineering and facility development projects. The role entails:
- Support planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of MEP works.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project compliance.
- Monitor site progress and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Review MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utilities.
- Assist with shop drawings, material approvals, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and design compliance.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Maintain project records, reports, and documentation.
Who We Want
- BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 1-2 years’ experience in MEP, construction, building services, or project engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project knowledge is an advantage.
- Understanding of site coordination, quality control, and project documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with contractors and project teams.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis and support site-based project activities.
