ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER (Coconut Milk Extraction & Canning Plant)
Location: Kuliyapitiya
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily production operations and achieving production targets.
- Monitor the coconut milk extraction and canning processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Responsible for whole production functions in the plants by ensuring efficient production functions and machine utilization.
- Supervise production staff and maintain proper work discipline.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- A good team player with flexibility & adaptability to work in a different environment
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Production Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food processing/production, preferably in coconut milk extraction and canning.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP food safety and production standards.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Males, age less than 45 years.
- English & Computer literacy specially MS Office packages is a must.
- Motivational, team management and interpersonal skills & ability to establish good working relations with workers, staff and management.
- Prepared to work long hours, display a sense of commitment to the job & able to work under pressure.
- A good team player with flexibility & adaptability to work in a different environment
