ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
Sipway Campus is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-oriented Academic Director to lead and strengthen our academic operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee all academic activities of the campus.
- Maintain and continuously improve academic standards and teaching quality.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate lecturers and academic staff.
- Develop and monitor academic programs, course structures, and timetables.
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, examination results, and overall performance.
- Ensure examinations, assessments, and academic records are properly managed.
- Conduct regular lecturer performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordinate lecturer recruitment, induction, training, and development together with the HR department.
- Establish and implement academic policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Handle academic issues raised by students, parents, and lecturers professionally.
- Work closely with the HR and Accounts departments to ensure smooth campus operations.
- Prepare academic performance reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Introduce new programs and initiatives to support the growth and reputation of Sipway Campus.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years working experience on related field
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree or higher qualification from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in academic management, educational administration, or a senior position in an educational institution.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage lecturers, students, parents, and administrative staff professionally.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of modern educational practices and academic quality management.
- Computer literacy and good administrative/reporting skills.
PREFERRED CANDIDATE
We are looking for an individual who is disciplined, responsible, proactive, professional, and capable of taking ownership of the academic performance of the campus. The successful candidate should be able to work closely with senior management and contribute to the continued growth and development of Sipway Campus.
