Site Engineer (Full-Time Basis)
Join our team and be part of the prestigious “Construction of Proposed Station Building at Maho Junction” project for Sri Lanka Railways.
To ensure the successful, timely, and high-quality completion of this key infrastructure development, we invite applications from dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented professionals to join our project management team for the following position:
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a minimum 3 years of post-qualifying experience, OR
- NDT / NCT (Civil) or equivalent qualification with minimum 5 years of site experience.

Role Profile & Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise day-to-day construction works at the site.
- Ensure execution of systems as per approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and BOQ.
- Coordinate with the client, sub-contractors, and Head Office regarding:
- Drawing arrangements and approvals
- Negotiating and ordering required materials
- Attending the technical approval process
- Billing and payment certification
- Handing-over procedures
- Monitor manpower productivity and material usage on site.
- Maintain all necessary site documentation, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Inter-Disciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP teams to avoid clashes and project delays.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers regarding technical and site matters.
- Attend site coordination meetings and progress review meetings.
- Planning & Progress Monitoring
- Review project drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Track daily/weekly progress and report status to the Project Manager.
- Identify potential delays and propose corrective action plans.
