WE ARE LOOKING FOR
COMPLIANCE EXECUTIVE (MALE) FOR TIEP OPERATIONS
NDC Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a private company established to manufacture and export coconut-based food products for the purpose of growing human health and well-being. We are looking for a dynamic & hardworking individual to be appointed as Compliance Executive for TIEP Operations.
CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Customs & International Trade, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years' experience in TIEP operations, Customs compliance, export documentation, or a similar role.
- Age below 35 Years.
- Good knowledge of Sri Lanka Customs regulations, clearance activities, TIEP procedures, HS Codes, import/export documentation, and international trade practices.
- Experience in an export manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Business One/SAP ERP or similar) will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Administer and monitor all activities relating to the Temporary Import for Export Processing (TIEP) Scheme.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Customs regulations, TIEP guidelines, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of imported raw materials, packaging materials, and export utilization.
- Prepare and submit TIEP documentation, Customs declarations, reports, and reconciliations within stipulated deadlines.
- Liaise with Sri Lanka Customs, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and other regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Procurement, Finance, and Export departments to ensure accurate inventory movement and compliance.
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliations between physical inventory and system records.
- Monitor duty-free imports and ensure proper utilization under the TIEP scheme.
- Assist during Customs audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports for management.
