HIRING: Waiter
Ahangama, South Coast • Full-time contract • Start: As soon as possible
Blue Waves is a surf and wellness house on the south coast. Our restaurant serves fresh Sri Lankan and international food for guests from all over the world, breakfast through dinner. It is a young team, the pace is fast, and the work you do is seen and appreciated every single day.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Welcome guests, take their orders, and serve food and drinks at the table
- Run breakfast, lunch or dinner service and keep your station clean and ready
- Share the menu, answer questions, and recommend dishes and drinks
- Follow our hygiene and food safety standards without being reminded
- Jump in wherever the team needs you during a busy service
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Waiters: at least 1 year in a hotel, restaurant or villa
- Helpers: no experience needed, we will train you from day one
- Conversational English, enough to work with an international team
- Punctual, clean, organised, and calm when service gets busy
