MATARA
ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE & ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
Samagi Spice Exports (Pvt) Ltd, the proud owner of the SPICEUP brand, is looking for dynamic, dedicated, and detail-oriented finance professionals to join our growing Finance Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Monitor daily cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial information and provide clear, meaningful summaries.
- Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with banks and relevant financial institutions on financial matters.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualifications in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA will be highly advantageous.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidates residing in or around Matara will be given preference.
