What you need to have
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the apparel/garment manufacturing industry.
- Passed GCE O/L; NVQ Level qualification in Sewing Machine Maintenance or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial sewing machines.
- Practical experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of lockstitch, chain stitch, overlock, flatlock/cover-stitch, and other conventional and special-purpose sewing machines.
- Ability to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, fault diagnosis, machine adjustments, calibration, lubrication, and replacement of machine parts to minimize production downtime.
- Work Location - Baddegama.
- Upper age limit - 40 Years
SCOPE
Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance, inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and replacement of parts. Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, minimize downtime, maintaining maintenance records, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
