The Archives is an intimate restaurant, cocktail bar, and four-room boutique hotel in the heart of Galle Fort, built around thoughtful, attentive hospitality. We are looking for confident, well-presented hospitality professionals who are naturally warm with guests, take pride in their work, and have the initiative to maintain high standards without needing constant direction. A great deal can be taught in hospitality. What is harder to teach is genuine kindness, awareness, self-motivation, and the instinct to go the extra mile.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, boutique hotels, or similar quality-focused environments
- Strong spoken English and confident guest communication
- Good knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and sequence of service
- Excellent grooming and professional presentation
- Strong attention to detail and genuine guest awareness
- Self-motivated, dependable, and productive even during quieter periods
- Overseas hospitality experience will be a strong advantage
Restaurant Captains should have previous supervisory experience and be confident leading a section and maintaining service standards.
Waiters / Service Professionals should understand refined service, menu recommendations, guest interaction, and how to anticipate what a table needs.
Host / Hostess should be warm, organised, confident with reservations and seating, and capable of creating an excellent first and last impression.
EARNING POTENTIAL
- LKR 150,000 – 200,000+ per month
- Including base salary, service charge, tips, and applicable incentives.
