Samagi Organics (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s second-largest essential oil exporter and the company behind the SPICEUP beverage project, is seeking a skilled and experienced Chemist to join our Chemical & R&D Laboratory.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience operating GC, GC-MS, and HPLC instruments.
- Practical knowledge of sample preparation, analytical testing, and interpretation of results.
- Understanding of quality control, laboratory documentation, and instrument maintenance.
- Experience in essential oils, natural extracts, or food and beverage analysis will be an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products.
- Support research and development activities for essential oils and SPICEUP beverages.
- Prepare analytical reports and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
